Default Fitting Hi Spec Calipers to 4x4 strut....wrong brackets?

Tried fitting my 360mm / 6 pot kit yesterday but the caliper brackets supplied by Hi Spec seem incorrect. Just want to check I'm not being a complete mong before I call them tomorrow. See pic below of the fitment, there's a good 15mm gap once the caliper is mounted onto the disc.

2wd brackets would be bolt through, so that lookslike it's the culprit

The brackets were made up for my 4x4 application as they didnt have any in stock...note '4x4' stamp on the picture above. I have 2wd brackets that came with the 2nd had rotors and calipers and they are completely different and also do not fit.

It looks to me like the recesses on the brackets have been milled too far. I'll get in touch with Hi Spec tomorrow.

try turning the bracket 180 so the ''4x4-360x32'' wrighting faces the wheel and not the suspention if you get my drift.

Tried that mate but if I turn the brackets round then the thread holes that receive the caliper bolts don't line up.

Looking at them again the brackets definitely look 10-15mm out. I'll call Hi Spec in the morning. Its just a little annoying considering the dosh I paid.

unbolt the brakcet from the caliper, poke a screwdriver though one of the vanes in the disc to hold the caliper in place and then offer up the bracket in various configurations to see if there isn't one way that it will fit

Hi Spec came back to me and asked if the struts were off an XR4x4. To be honest I cant be completely sure as they were an Ebay purchase. Is there a difference between XR4x4 & Cosworth front hubs?

Perhaps that's what will make all the difference?
