Default Different ride hights

Morning,
My Escort sits higher at the back than the front now that I stripped it out.
It's lowered on shocks and 40mm springs. I've been offered some 60mm drop springs for silly money.
Will it upset the handling a lot if anything if I swap the rears to 60mm springs?

I would stick coilovers on, but cant afford it at the moment.
Thanks

It will effect it, how it will effect it is hard to say, especially without knowing the comparative spring rates.

Can you relocate the battery to the back? It won't sort it completely but it should re-balance the weight distribution a bit and help with the ride height.
