Default cosworth buggy help

hi everyone new on the site i am building a road buggy with a dohc sierra engine but not to sure if i use a 4x4 gearbox is it posable to only run the front drive shafts and blank the rear drive shaft off or any shorter type gearbox can be used as the sierra box is very long and will make the buggy to long with i dont want any help would be great thanks lawrence

You using a cosworth engine? Why not transversely mount it and use an FWD box?

DOHC AKA Twinky or I4, I think it is possible, or just do as said and try and mount it east west if you can with a sutiable box.

but wont it have to sit off center to get the drive shafts to line up.
but i could have one dive shaft longer than the over
