Hi. I'v got a escort cozzie, big turbo that's running on green injectors, 3 bar map sencor. I had a problem with the car backfiring, I'v sorrted that out now, but now the car is running rich. When you boot it, it chucks out black smoke. I don't know what the lamber sencor is like, if it's working or not. Befor i had the problem with the car, she was running fine. What should I check or adjust, if anything? Thanks. Tony

 

Turbo alright?

 

Nothing to do with the turbo, it's overfuelling, why is the question.
First place would be look at lambda sensor, what was the last thing you touched prior to it having a fit ?, could be many things, cts/hego(lambda)map etc.
