Unhappy ST 170 clicking steering?

Just noticed this. When I turn my steering wheel there feels like a click when taken out of the neutral position if you know what I mean???
Its as if something is snagging the steering. I have had a quick look underneath but cant see anything to hand.
It has just passed the MOT so if it was bad it should have been caught.
Any idea's anyone?
Thanks in advance.
J.

Have a read of a thread I made the other week...
https://passionford.com/forum/techni...ring-rack.html

Seems your steering rack is probably nackered. Seems like a pretty common fault now

I was talking to a mechanic and he said that the Focuses were reliable when they were new, but they aint holding upto the test of time very well

No the steerings better than it's cold, as the fluid warms up it gets worse.
