MK6 running hot
I'll rather not share the gorry details of my experiences with SA Ford the last couple of weeks, Because it is not for sensitive readers, but I will say it involved having my car in the shop for two weeks to replace a head gasket, and a small fortune for ransom on the car.
Any way. I got my baby back, but now she is running VERY hot. So hot infact that I thought the radiator fan doesn't work! I took it back to the workshop where they were addiment that the Escorts do run that hot.!?
So since replacing the head gasket(anti-freez, and thermostat), the radiator fan only kicks in when the temp gauge reaches the "L" of "NORMAL"... It didn't used to get that hot...
So the question is, is there a way to get the fan to kick in sooner? I am skilled with a soldering iron, if it may be needed...
