Default please help!

Hi all im in need of some help, i own a private registration plate which is on my old car which my friend owns, i am going to dvla on thursday and am in need of some help, ive lost the original plates for my old car, i am happy to buy my friend some new plates but wont i need some form of logbook or proof of ownership to buy the new plates, whats the best thing to do thanks

Buy them over the phone or online.

Companies that do "show plates" still do legal ones. Been a couple of years since I have ordered any but I was never asked any form of proof. May of changed now but worht a shot.

I was thinking of buying some from ebay, but not sure if they will get here in time,
