Default which caliper is this :S

hi, went to change my pads bought them from euro parts for abs mk5 fiesta, and they were to big went back and the pads i needed were for none abs (even though mines abs)

went to put them on a piston on caliper was seized, ive bought to calipers now which turned out to be the wrong size (to big) and the places seems to think that the brakes were changed to diffrent ones at some point.

so which caliper is this? its got the number 847 on it, its smaller than the ones ive bought, has a 44mm piston. goes on a solid disc (ive been told these should be vented) heres the brake pads that fit it and a pic of the caliper its self:

there are only really 3 calipers it can be

the standard 240mm calipers
the larger rsturbo/sierra 260mm calipers
the biggest escos/4x4 sierra cas/granada cos/mondeo V6 278mm calipers

depending on which rims you've got on i'd be going with the 260mm calipers

Measure your disc diameter, it's likely to be 240mm or 258/260mm, the pads you need are for a ATE caliper, the abs cars were indeed all vented disc, looks like someone been playing mix and match at some point.
