Spark Plugs

Hi, Anyone know how to get the rubber caps off the spark plugs in my Mondeo without breaking them? I have tried to pull them off but have already split one!

Rubber caps on the spark plugs? Do you mean HT leads?

yes the HT leads go into the cap covering the plug but I cant pull the things off!

Twist them, ie rotate them first, then next time use some silicone gel on the inside of the cap just where it contacts the plugs porcelain.
The ht lead top part and plug part are all one piece.
