can any 1 help ive not long brought mk4 cabby with a turbo engine in it who ever did the conversion just plonked in the wiring loom im not sure if ive got the wiring for the tps and im guessing the other is the possition sensor for the flap in the metering unit the right way round it runs the same eather way round (badly) its booked in for a set up but i wanted to sort this before i send it thanks.

 

These two sensors are virtually impossible to mix up on standard looms due to the length of wires! Sorry to hear your pain sounds like you have bought a right lash up!!

However don't get too upset this can be fixed for about £15and a load of your time and patience. Get a multi meter from maplin and a wiring diagram from the good old haynes manual and buzz the wires out individually from where the are back to the ecu pins. The haynes diagram will then tell you what the wire should do. I made my own piggy back enging wiring loom using this method!
