Hi to all i have just fitted a inlet manifold spacer but now the injectors are at the wrong Angle an the engine is running like crap has any one got any ideas??

 

you need a 17mm spacer from anenbo engineering the rail fits on the oppersite side and the injector are at the same angle as standard, hope this helps

Yes, the spacer is too big, it is likely bought from someone who made it out of easily available billet plate instead of machining it to the corerct size, which is more wastefull and thus more expensive for them.

Anyone who wants to avoid this problem should consider buying this one.

 

Its 14mm to fit correctly dad .

 

Mine is 12.37mm and with the cometic gaskets either side fits 100% perfect, most likely nearer 14mm with gaskets, ie the width of the lug, got another 8-10 of them thrown in me garage somewhere, mate made them in his dinner break, all laser cut.

iv modded the lugs tonight it now fit bang on and its got no running problems, thanks for all your replys..
o i carnt say iv noticed any power gains but it does seem to drive smoother of boost now is this normal?

 

Depending on your spec the motor may be running lean and ready to meltdpown. The usually feel lovely just before they explode as the leaner they get the more power they produce... get it checked over for peace of mind mate.

I would expect that OFF boost with a spacer, then lean ON boost.
