need help urgently
recently converted my series 2 to efi car was running fine before but the wiring was shot so thats why i decided to then go the efi route everything has gone fine got her started over the weekend first turn of the key and i was very happy
but after a few min of running she started to blow a load of white smoke out the exhaust
and drinking loads of water the filler has got a lil creamy gunk around it which would suggest head gaskets gone but cant see how as it was running fine before the conversion and this is the first time its been run since so was wondering if maybe i have put the water pipes on wrong or something if its possible the ones that go to the back of engine ie oil sandwich plate and inlet etc also next problem is as soon as ignitiion is on lights come on also when i turn the lights on with key out the lights come on but fuel pump primes
any ideas would be very welcome

right hand side of oil plate going to inlet manifold
the front of thermostat going to top of heater matrix
