Default efi wiring help

what wire controls the battery warning light on dash,
story goes 1.1 mk2 fiesta converted to an xr2i engine, running original loom with efi loom spliced in ,
car ran good before doing clutch, now have no warning light when ignition is switched , car turns over and i.ve got spark but it wont start,
any ideas as to what wire is loose or broken
cheers in advance

The battery light, or rather the charge warning light is a blue wire that runs from the alternator to the dash clocks, when stationary the alternators IND terminal is EARTH, once running and charging this IND terminal changes to live sop putting out the warning light, the other side of the light(bulb) in the clocks is a live from the ignition switch(pos 2).
This light will in no way affect the starter or engine running.
