Question Wiring and plug question - XR3i mfi

Just a quick one, was laying out loom other day ready for cutting out bits that arent needed and looking where to add my new bits in. So couple of questions with pics if you can help before i pull my hair out with wiring diagrams

Firstly, whats this plug for? It was taped to loom unused. I have a feeling its for ECU on an EFi car, if so which colours do what?

Quick picture showing colours of wires going to back of above connector:

Secondly, what are the coloured connectors on door looms for? I think the black connector is for electric mirrors and red is for central locking if i remember rightly. Doesnt have electric windows but i may fit anyway as i've been told its easy enough if it has either electric mirrors or locking.

Theres been an extra spur added in at some point but im struggling to work out what for, i think there was once an alarm installed. Anyone recognise the above right plug?

Lastly, can you tell me what each of these relay holders is related too? Im sure purple/pinkish one is fuel pump. Not sure on others yet though.

Thats it for now, have couple more regarding Emerald ECU wiring and few other bits but will save them and see how we get on with these first.

Thanks in advance for any help!

The first plug does not look like it's going to be connected to any ecu, nowhere near enough wires, all the wires normally on 1 connector block on efi, depending on location ?, of plug did any have air con on any engine fitted to the cars ?, as a nice big chunky power feed there.
All these can be found out by buying a haynes manual, and looking at the wiring diagrams, would be quicker than posting on here.
I can help you with the wiring for the K3/K6 no problem, they are very easy, which one have you got ?

i have neither yet, so will be a K6. unless i change my mind before purchase but Emerald does look like a good product for the money. Only other option im considering is DTA as im only an hour away from the guy who makes them, was recommended by a tuner i visited. Wayne from chip wizards.

dont know of any mk4 escort available with aircon. i will check haynes manual but sometimes the diagrams make things more confusing.

thought someone may have come accross this on their car where it was plugged into something, as you say its a big power cable so wouldnt be there for no reason. unless for heated windscreen option? My efi 90 spec xr3i has heated windscreen but dont fancy taking the dash out just to check lol.

thanks anyway!
