Hi I have just finished a 9 month long build on my s2 rst and last night the handbrake light went out and hasn't come back on before we start the yellow abs light still comes on and off as normal
It's not the bulb I swapped them over no change
It's not the switch on the handbrake lever as I said abs light works which comes off that switch as when I in plugged the switch nothing on dash just want to know is this a Mot failure I have looked it up but can't find a decent answer thanks

 

handbrake light is not a testable item, might need to come on as I can't quite think how the abs light sequence is listed in the vsi (when you log on for mot) I was looking at it the other day aswell.

Worst case mod the back of the clocks so the abs light illuminates the handbrake light aswell

Don't forget it's also your warning for low brake fluid level so probably worth getting it sorted!
