Morning all, I have a slight issue with 'Faye' , little niggle is that osf door wont lock/unlock with remote, but locks/unlocks on manual operation of lock, thats not the issue, but, the door/boot open warning light is on, when all 3 'doors' are shut, ive traced it to the boot, as when i press the dash boot open button, boot unlocks and i slam it closed, light goes out, for a minute or two, then it will start flickering, stay off then back on, then stay on....it seems like a wiring issue as it flickers, but can somebody point me in the right direction, i have removed the boot card, can only see 2 small wires into a plug, but guessing thats the boot open switch???

ive had a quick google but as at work, i cant spend too much time.... and havent got t'internet at home yet as just moved in a new place...

 

Update:
I think ive found the prob, i disconnected the 3 terminal plug on the latch and it was wet, corroded etc, on both halves of the plug, cleaned with terminal cleaner, sprayed with wd40 to remove excess moisture.... light is out for now, but will see how long for....
