Default crunchy gears

everytime i line up and launch the cossy i can never get it in second gear
when i need it
ive just had the box reconed for the 6th time this year
cud it be down to linkage or clutch im runnin alcon 6 paddle with ford release bearing
im only running 330bhp aswell

t5 or mt75 ?

the mt75 doesnt like to be rushed ive found - what oil are you using...?

is it an alcon cover and plate? if so u should be using their release bearing.

they dont list one though in the kit and recommend an OE one - even the kit for the evos is the same - factroy release bearing - if they do one then, it must be thicker to allow the fork to push it furthin into the diaphragm...

its an mt75 box
ive been woundering if it cud be the release bearing but cannot find an extended version anywhere
its an absolute nightmare espically when ur lining up against another car

sorry it is an alcon cove and plate
i dont know what oil im using as athe company who reconed the box fitted it

might be worth droppin the box oil and filling it with some proper MT75 oil - cheapest ans easiest option first.....

would that be normal atf fluid, i think the gearbox plce say use engine oil

normal atf fluid hell no!

mt75 fluid has some special polmers and constituancy specifacally for the mt75 box - funnily enough.

atf fluid can be used in the transfer box though.

most motor factor places will be able to get it - comma castrol and various other companies do it - including ford
