please dont slate me if this sounds stupid but in my 3dr ive had a wet carpet on both pas/drivers side footwell, ive lifted carpet and undelay and can see water is coming in from vents in floorpan.can i patch these up or are they a must? also what would you use to cover before undelay goes back on?hope someone can give advice
can these leak without rot present underneath? i only ask as my footwells get damp but there is no rust on my car and its never been welded, ive checked all around windscreen plus sunroof drains, doorseals etc and it isnt the heater matrix either, do you think it could be these?

there is a layer of what looks like sound deadning that covers them and mine was all cracked and broken away that has caused it to start leaking through underlay and carpet no rot around the vents though mate
