Ive plated over mine, then seem sealed and painted over them, dont forget to spray some waxoil into them from the underneath.

can these leak without rot present underneath? i only ask as my footwells get damp but there is no rust on my car and its never been welded, ive checked all around windscreen plus sunroof drains, doorseals etc and it isnt the heater matrix either, do you think it could be these?

there is a layer of what looks like sound deadning that covers them and mine was all cracked and broken away that has caused it to start leaking through underlay and carpet no rot around the vents though mate
