Could well be a classic problem that being that one of the master locks, I.E driver or passenger door is "Sticky" and so when the pulse times out one of the locks is "Stuck in the middle" so it reverts to the state it was I.E open in your case. The mechanism/lock simply needs lubeing to sort this.

I have tryd the wd40 on both front cental locking motor conections which were damp water leaking in then the remote central locking will work once i have messed around with it but leave the car for 20-30 mins then it will stop working it isnt a signal problem unlocks fine but i also found that the car will remote lock with the passenger door open so dose that mean the passenger door motor is at fault which is causeing the system to think the doors ajar so trying to lock then unlocking Thanks Alex

The doors should not lock at all with either the driver or passenger door open, it still sounds like the problem I mention, it's not the connections that are the problem it's the lock/mechanism itself on the door, lube this.

It sounds as if the passenger door is the problem, disconnect the connector for this lock and then try locking/unlocking if this works then it's defo the passenger lock/mechanism etc thats the problem!
