Fitted a msd coilpack kit, what do u do with the old coil wiring, ie the green wiring and the surpressor? Do you join the old coil wires together? Cheers jon.

Hi stu, i did but im unsure about the oe wiring on my 3dr! I got 2 wires to the old coil which i taped up, There is a black and yellow wire that goes to one side of the i take to be the surpressor. So ive got 4 green wires in the oe loom and also a the black/yellow wire! Also i think it would be a good idea to send you my ecu so you can check it if thats ok?

 

Ok, essentially all old wiring should just be taped up and insulated, but if you had to remove a supressor from the GREEN wires, then those green wires should be connected together again to complete the circuit, otherwise the tacho wont work.

No problem on testing ECU mate, just as long as your aware we cant do so unless we have a wasted aspark YB here to try it on, which can be weeks.
