Wiper speed issues

For some reason the intermitten wiper mode (the gap between each wipe)on my escort turbo wont work. Any ideas how to solve this problem?

You could do with checking to see if you have power going to the wiper motor.If you have you know the motor is at fault.You could also have a faulty wiper stalk too.
