Roof pump on my escort turbo cab no longer working.

1. I know the switch works as i have tested it.
2. When you press the switch i can hear a clicking coming from the relay in the drivers footwell.
3. Changed the 2 green relays on the pump loom itself
4. If i bridge the terminals on the connectors where the green relays go the pump will work. (But only Sometimes)
5. I have checked all the earth points.

Is there anything else i can try. I dont think the pump is broken itself because i can get it to work.

 

its the silver thermal cutout by the sounds of it it should sit in the loom near the pump loom by the 2 green relays hope this helps
