Default 2WD COSSIE EXHAUST PROBLEM

I have a 2wd cossie, when i bought it ,it had a stainless steel scorpion exhaust system on it but always used to blow from where it fixed to the back of the turbo,i tried taking it off a re-fitting it but it still blew so i was told it was the exhaust and to buy a mongoose system as they are a better fit.Recently i bought a second hand magnex stainless system to solve the problem but on fitting this system the blow is still occuring in the same place?my only chance left is to try a mongoose system but am worried that the same blow will happen, its as if the angle of the down pipe is slightly different to where it meets the back of the turbo?has anyone ever heard of this problem before?would you reccomend a mongoose?

I would say there no differant mate, are your studs in the turbo bent where it bolts the downpipe on they could be pulling it off center

andy is right, try and do each nut up a bit at a time to seat it,or check back turbo housing is correct(unlikely to be wrong, but u never know).Check if insert in downpipe as there normally is-regards PJ

there is normally one or two (flanged)inserts inside the flange in the downpipe to step it down to ex.housing and create a seal-regards PJ
