Default heated screen

hi guys
the wife's focus cmax heated screen has stopped working,
i've checked the fusebox under the bonnet and the one in the footwell but all appears to be fine,
is there anywhere else i should be looking
it had a new screen fitted earlier in the year and all has been fine with the screen as such
but since it was fitted she's been having intermitant problems with her key fob, not sure if it's related or just coincidence
but any help in where to look will be greatly appreciated
it's a 05 plate 2ltr tdci ghia
if that helps

Does the LED in the switch illuminate when on, if not then you need to be checking the supply to the switch, if it does then i would be checking the connections to the screen itself, you should hear a change in the engine sound when the screen is on due the load it has on the electrical system?

As to the key could it simply be the battery that needs replacing, if not and I am not sure by any means but perhaps the ariel is around the screen area and it got knocked etc?

just take it back to whereever you had the screen replaced..it may be the ribbons that have the connections on as these are very thin and easy to break..ive seen them get tangled around the wiper mech if not clipped to the body properly..dont muck about with it as its just an excuse for them to void the warranty

Sounds like it isn't plugged in properly, I'm pretty sure the screen contains the aerial for the remote too, so that would explain that.
