Heya guys
Ive recently come across a bit of a strange problem with my mk2 escort. Wondering if anyone had some initial thoughts as to what it could be.
Basically whenever turning left, and only turning left. There is a clunking sound coming from the right hand side of the rear axle. its far more pronounced at low speeds (20 and lower), and especially during reversing. If I hold the clutch down when turning a left hand corner it will not clunk.
Im not fantastically clued up when it comes to this sort of stuff but my initial guess was the rear diff.
Any thoughts?
Cheers in advance.
Miguel
