Default Fan/Aircon

Hi, just bought an ST with Aircon and the problem is - light on Aircon button lights, fan doesn't work on 1,2,3 or 4, fan works on setting 5 but Aircon light goes out, any ideas please???

Fan resistor is duff, VERY common on lots of fords, maybe also your air con is empty.

What he ^^ said, the air con contains a pressure switch if it needs regassing there won't be sufficent pressure and hence no air con.

It's behind the dash passenger side, it's like an electronic module hence the name 'Resistor Pack' (Need to drop glove box)
