Default 2wd sapphire clunking noise

hi chaps.just as i was driving home tonite in my 2wd cosworth,i pulled out of the junction and i heard a clunking noise from the rear passenger side, the noise is as vo something is catching on the wheel or propshaft as when i speed up the noise speeds up as vo its going round something.i checked underneath and everything looks fine, nothing catching or hitting,it sounds worse on over run but if i put the clutch in it goes abit quiter, also if i go round a sharp or tight right corner it clunks louder,
any thoughts or ideas,??
thanks guys

I'd have a close look at the joints on the driveshaft that side, and the other side, as noise often isn't coming from where it sounds like it is.
