Default Fitting powerflex front top shock mount - sierra

I am changing the shock mounts on my sierra (non cossie).

I know this may sound a bit of silly question but when fitting a powerflex shock absorber mount obviously one part fits onto the top of the shock but how does the other part fit? I don't want to have the car to pieces before I know. I am assuming that it has to be forced in somehow.

Cheers

the ring section sits on top of your shock turret then bolt your shock cap back on.
