Default Mk 3 Mondeo window help . . .

Front electric driver's window motor has stopped working. Motor not at fault cos it works on passenger side. 4 gang switch has been swapped for a new one and it's still the same. I presume it's a relay problem but not sure. Any suggestions ? cheeRS

You need to start probing for live output from the switch and work towards the window, you'll find it, might be worth trying a new timer module from scrappies on the dud window.

When you press the switch, can you hear like a tick tock noise, as the motor engages then instantly disengages? If so, the spring on the auto down bit has failed and due to resistance with the window in the rubbers, it is instantly cutting the power to the window as it thinks it's at the bottom. Quite a common fault on the focus.

I've swapped the motors over and the passenger side works fine.
