Revs not dropping responsively
Hi All
1998 CVH multi fuel injection.
In my quest to find my overheating problem, I discovered all four wires running to the O2 sensor chaffed all the way through.
I repaired these, and have found power I never had before, Great, however If I blip the throttle to +/- 3000 rpm, the revs stay constant for about 2-3 secs before dropping.
Any idea's what could be causing this, Throttle closes quickly, albeit the butterfly has a minute gap, nearly as if it doesnt seal 100%. very little though!
Damaged O2 sensor?
ECU needs reseting?
