OK thanks for the info, thought we were talking about the rear end i was getting worried. Where should i pack the copper slick in to the trailing arm bushes as mine came with a lubricant (oh er) .. do I need extra?

You need ads much lubrication as possible. Just cover everything in it. Mine rears never made any noise.

Got The Bushes removed. They took Heat and 10 Ton of pressure in a press

mate, do you have a pic of the orginal bushes? I'm not sure if mine have been replaced and I'd be interested to see if they look the same.

i did my whole car with polys, even the rear spring insulators,no squeeks and it handles great,just a bit harsher ride thats all

Cheers for all advice lads..
What I thinks strange people deem these bushes as dangerous yet they still sell them??

I will go ahead and fit standard ones tried and tested, theres too many people that would say I told you so..not worth the risk...

I read in an article that some police forces using 4x4's used to have theirs replaced every 6 weeks, just to be sure.

I believe the bush that gets all the abuse and torque applied is the near side one. Had that one (only) changed on mine.

i read that in rallye news also a few years back, there was a pic of a white 4x4 saph, that the wales police used that had been rear ended
