ok hope you can help, the conversion is done and the engine runs and it drives but there is just no power and the engine seems to hit its rev limiter at very low revs or just chokes itself i dont know weather its the throttle body or a sensor here is what i have attached to it...

Are the injectors the correct ones for that engine and ecu? is the maff the correct one from the mondeo, sounds like it is a fueling issue, either too rich or too lean. It needs to have the correct injectors, ecu, fpr, maff, coolant temp and air temp sensor for the engine, or it wont run correctly mate. Either that or megasquirt it and map it yourself

Along with what has been said, make sure the inlet you use is the 1.8 version of the Escort version! I didn't, I used my original 1.6 one, and it went really well...until 5k and hit a wall at that point - the runners were obviously far too small!
So make sure MAF sensor, throttle body, injectors (should be brown so far as I have seen) and ECU are all the 2 litre ones along my ramblings from the previous paragraph, and you should be all set!
