Body shell
HI,
A 4 mount link usually refers to a live axle, where it has a upper and lower link going between the axle casing and the body of the car, the reference to "watts" I assume is a WATTS LINKAGE ?, this is rod arrangement that has a "S" shaped bit in the centre of it, stretching across the rear of the axles diff, it has a bolt in the centre around which the S"S shape bit can pivot, the top and bottom of the "S" have a bar/rod attached one going to each side of the car and attached to the body, this serves to hold the axle centred when forces try to move it sideways, the axle is free to move up and down, as the "S" shape bit revolves around it's centre but as it is bolted to the axle centre stops any sideways movement of the axle in relation to the car body.
Rear turrets are the same as a lot of cars have on the front a McPherson strut type suspension leg held at the top and sitting inside a "turret"(tube effectively) made into the body of the car above each rear wheel for independent suspension.
