Hey everyone, sorry to bother you.

I am with my dad at the moment and we are trying to make his dashboard do a "test" because we dont think his fuel gauge is working.

There is supposibly a way to make it do a test where all its needles go to the maximum and the dashboard lights come one to check its all working. I have tried searching but can not find anything unless it involves ebay....

I would really appreciate any help as my dad was unfortunate to run out of diesel on the way home without knowing.......

Yes there is hold the trip button and simultaneously turn ignition on, continue holding button until the 'Gauge Sweep' is performed. Turn ignition off again, it's likely to be the sender.

Trivia:This resets the millage trip NOT the total miles.
