Default piston information

hi to all i live in israel and own an rst S2 and i am new in this forum so my qustion is that dose anyone konw somthing about king pistons are thry good for use on rst ? can they hold 1.1 bar of boost? all i know is that they made in israel and they cost abut 140 pound all 4 with rings an pins
dose anyone use them? i rebuilding my engine so i need that information

hi freddy,never heard of king pistons but as regards to them holding 1.1 bar of boost which is equivalent to approx 16.17 psi,at that boost level its the air fuel ratio thats important as even the most expensive pistons will melt if thats incorrect
i take it that it has a modified chipped,as i think the standard one has a boost limit of 12 psi after which if exceeded the engine cuts,

i had the choice of these for my engine, found out they are 1600 (xr3i ) type pistons that have been lathed down to get the flat surface .. so no i wouldnt touch em with a barge pole
