Hi There,

My speedo recently stopped working so I am trying to find the problem. I have removed the cable from the g/box and unscrewed the sensor unit. Now i need to remove the attachment that sits on the g/box. It is a 3/4 circle and there is what looks like a retaining pin running down the flat side of it to hold it in place. The trouble is i have tried for 2 hours today to remove the dam pin and it is not moving one little bit!! It is driving me up the wall. Is this infact a pin or some type of breathing pipe (which i doubt) without this pin removed i cant take out (what looks like a red cog) to check if it is stripped. Is there a special way to get this pin out?? Pilers, vice grips all do not work. I have tried to add a pic but i cant - how do you attach pics???
