Mondeo estate max towing??

Does anybody know if a mondeo estate tdci on a 04 plate with tow a horse box.
Not to sure what the maximum weight is a mondeo can tow.Just wondered if anyone had any experience of towing large trailers with this type of vehicle??

would have thought not more than actual weight of the car,as I know the box and horse are damn heavy

Look on the plate on the slam panel, or in handbook, this will give you then GVW, gross vehicle weight, ie car and trailer/horse how high is the horse, if it's a 18 hands cart horse then no ha ha!!
