Default Mondeo ST TDCI

Hi all,
I've recently bought a 54 plate st tdci. On the whole it's ok, but I have two problems!
1) I have no power to the reverse lights. The fuse is ok?
2) At just over 1000rpm, and from start up, if I rev the engine too slowly, the whole car judders as if the engine mounts are soft, and it takes a short time to rev cleanly?
Any help/ ideas would be greatly appreciated

1. Fuse 80 in the central Fuse box is for the reversing lights. (Well it is on my 56 plate ST TDCi)
2. Might be your crank pulley / aux belt which is common to go. Or if it's not that, the dreaded Dual Mass Flywheel.

Thanks guys, I think I'll bite the bullet and make the long drive up to Newark. The car is still in warranty, so they can deal with it. They said it had been checked and serviced! I can't see that with the faults I've fixed so far, and the bigger faults I won't tackle, plus the old air filter etc.
Is there anything I should look out for that might crop up in the future? Is it a good/bad idea to chip tune it?
Thanks, Jay

I would think it's the reversing light switch at fault.

I know on the Mondeo Diesels the injector's and the said DMF are rife for problems so as you say best of taking it back to dealer especially if you just brought it it's there problem.

Hey mate, Jay here.
I see that you have a 56 plate ST TDCI, have you changed the engine output at all?
