Saph Sunroof Wooes.
My sunroof was not wanting to go nbackwards but wasok forwards.
I have greased the cabling up to buggery and put it back together MAKING sure the auto stop is in the right shut position and it barley goes up with a struggle and now when i make it go backwards, it raises first and trys going backwards with the glass trying to go back above the roof.
i have put it all back the sameway i took it off and even tried to be sure by putting the two small sliddy black bits that sit under the main plastic strip that goes along the rail on the other sides with no improvment.
any ideas where i may be going wrong?
for now i have managed to put it in the shut postion and unplugged the switch just in case i accidentally move it.

what happens if you operate the roof manually? sounds like eithe the motor is incorrectly fitted or cables connected wrong, somethings back-to-front. I assume youve taken it apart??? what was the original fault?

i didnt take the motor out or the cableling. All i did was take the black plastic top bits of the runner of to get grease in the cabeling and put it back down. The original fault was that it didnt go backwards unless i gave it a push to help it out. It was very stiff. Going up was fine
