recently started to hear a knock every time i ease off to change gear in engine bay. It sounds like someone maybe hittin a can with a spoon ! Car has dump valve, could it be this? Anyone had a similar prob. Car runs absolutely perfect apart from this. I know it could be anythin but anyone shed any light ?

Yep I would say a mount letting the engine rock and most likely clanking the exhaust off something or just creaking the exhaust joints.

Not a big job, would just get them done and go fro there.
