xr4i 2.8 xr4x4 2.8 engine

Default xr4i 2.8 xr4x4 2.8 engine

will the 2.8 xr4i engine fit into my xr4x4 i.e dose the xr4i engine have the fixing points for the drive shafts.

Engines are the same the difference is the sumps, ie your need to put the 4x4 sump and 4x4 oil pick up pipe onto the XR4i engine.

the drive shafts go into the diff (drivers side) and sump (passenger side) so presumably you still have the xr4x4 sump, bolt that on and the engine will go straight in
