hi ive got a problem with my gti,when i put my foot down in 2nd and 3rd gear the car seems to chug alot just wondered if it could be the new k&n filter i just put on of the fact i have a little hole in my manifold,probably manifold hole but just want to double check

 

Manifold hole would be much more likely as you guessed.
