Expert Cosworth help needed
hi all, i am in South Africa, i need to touch base with someone who is very conversant with the inside of a YB, please contact me at contact@jacspeedracing.com
i need to know if the main brg CAP shells can be grooved for oil or must they be solid (un-grooved)
then i hear all different tales about oil pumps. one guy tells me that the std YB pump is different volume than the std Pinto, but I have both and they are exactly the same except for the piston cooling outlet which of course the Pinto does not use. then i want to know if the high output YB item that Burton sells actually flows more oil than the std or have they just increased the relief pressure.
cheers

the pinto and cossie pump ARE identical except for the top plate(which as you stated has the outlet for the spray bar)!
Burton's HAVE just increased the pressure in the pump with a heavier relief spring .
