As said check beam bushes, inner and outer arm bushes, and also the rear fiff mount, it's not unusual to have a bit of a clonk on well used diffs as this is play, had it esp on me auto's for some odd reason.

Hi ...ok .. the big bushes, one in each side of the beam is new powerflex, rear ARB bushes are new powerflex, diff hanger is new poly type and there is ok space between ARB and mount.

Diff is "new" uprated (uprated visco and planet gears) one from CTS done about 2500 km .. but I have mixed feelings about the diff as I have had problems with it and it has been at CTS twice as it is noicy (more than the old std one +300K km) .. and now the third one is leaking a little from each side and still a bit noicy :-(

Trailing arm bushes are OE type and while I have had the car not been changed as I have been told not to use poly there ??

Driveshaft has done MANY miles and there is some play in them (seems to be at the CV joints) ?

the probshaft has done MANY miles but seems ok
