Default Focus Inlet Manifolds

Hello all,

Do the Focus Zetecs use a different inlet manifold for each engine size or are the 1.8 and 2.0ltr versions the same part?

Cheers.

Smiler.

Ta, I thought as much. Do you happen to know if there an improvement over the early upright alloy inlet manifold from the early Zetec Escots?

I have a 2.0ltr Zetec fitted to my mk3 Escort and am trying to find the best option. I have an alloy upright manifold but noticed that the ports are a bit smaller than those in the 2.0ltr head. I'm also a bit concerned about bonnet clearance with the over cam cover style air inlet trunk.
I know these have been used on the mk4 Escort so should fit but it looks a bit tight near the front on my mk3.

Cheers.
