Default Newbie with Escort S2 Question

Hi every1! Just bought a Escort S2 turbo, on the way home temperature went up2 the "N" of Norm very quick and stays there. After Been out a couple of times and not abusing it really, the needle tends to stay on the "N" The fans also cut in while the needle is on "N" so they cut in and work fine, but dont go off, Its has a new airtec alloy rad and single pass front mounted intercooler, i had alook at the intercooler, and it is butt up against the front bumper, causing alot of it not to get any air feed. rad is very close to turbo and then both fans touch rad and intercooler, so cannot move it back, is this a bad modification? or am i going to have to chop at the front bumper ? Engine runs really well, pulls nicely! i believe it has a t3 turbo, and is been on the rollers and got 190bhp, remaped etc etc, but surely should run cooler??

Any Help would be greatly appriciated! Tom

maybe put your fans on a switch inside the car then you can turn them on sooner thats what ive got on my saff, also you may have to cut into your bumper slightly but im sure other people will tell you better
