Hi, I've come back to the blue oval having just got a G reg P100 pick up.
It's got an XR4i 2.8i lump but I think the fuel pump's just died and that's a good enough excuse to swap to carb -

I'm not that technically minded but can bolt sh*t together!

What do I need and from what to make it work?

I know I'll obviously need an inlet manifold and carb but what will fit it?
Mechanical fuel pump and push rod but from what?

I think the fuel tank'll be ok (Maybe not though?)

Manual choke kit

Anything else I obviously need?

Also, where's good to source the parts these days?

Just use the stuff from the likes of a mk2 granada carby model, these were auto choke so even easier, no cable to bugger about with, these bits are becoming hard to find so look on ebay, local papers, sierra shack etc.
Tank can be used without any problem, as external pump anyway.
