Default xr4x4 24v conversion

After chasing some young spotty spanner in a scooby n throwing a rod through my crankcase i have decided to drop in a '92 24v granada lump. I am confident enough to do all the spannering to fit it but the scary bit for me is the wiring if any body can help it would be much appreciated.

The thing is to treat the car wiring as two seperate parts, ie car loom for lights heater etc etc, and the engine loom, which typically needs only 4-6 connections into the power supply so dead easy.
