Default Does this look the same as l8?

I got this from a lancia dedra a while ago, thinking of using it on my 2.1 zetec turbo providing its basically an l8 and can be chipped as such.
From the pics i found it looks the same, got it with loom, all sensors, injectors, throttle body etc! So hopefully i can use it!

The Lancia and Ford units are almost the same. There are small differences in the wiring.

Lancia and Ford weber-marelli ecu's are very similar. Most of the sensors and actuators are the same and on the same pin.
Big difference from a diagnostic standpoint is that the Lancia ecu's all have a serial link, through which you can read codes and data, where the Ford unit only have a blinking led.

8V turbo
Not real boost control, but an overboost (0,1-0,2 bar) at full throttle - with an overboost light.
8V turbo cat
Check engine light
16V turbo
Check engine light + 2 map sensors - 2-bar and 3-bar

So I should be able to have it chipped by the usual cossie tuners then? It was from an 8v I think.

It looks like an L8, Fiat along with others as said used exactly the same management system being it's Italian anyway, the turbo Dedra even has a Garrett T3. Obviously the software is different but apart from that I think there the same.

Once a pectel board is fitted the software will be the same and enable tuning. I have a Lancia delta ECU on one of my customers cars that i bought from Sardina on a holiday i took some time out to visit a breakers yard.
