I drive a mk6 escort gti, and have been offered some wheels on a ET40 offset, will these fit ok? or will they cause me grief??

they will fit as depending on size. as long as they r 4x108PCD. I think the 'Scort is ET41 neway, is it not? If its not correct offset, as long as they aint bigger than 17s u should b alright.

 

There 18 inch though! I thought the scort was ET38??

 

ET38, i thot tht was the Fiesta. Ah well ET40 shouldnt giv u 2 much hassle. If its too big, it just mean it may catch ur arches which means u'll hav to either knock back (not reccommended) or trim back the arch lip with an angle grinder.
